Our son, Harrison, was born in October 2010 at 26 weeks gestation, weighing just 2 pounds 2 ounces. He spent 93 days in the UAMS Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The team of doctors, nurses and many others who treated him are truly heroes to us.

Throughout Harrison’s stay in the NICU, the UAMS staff provided an unmatched level of medical care for our son while also giving us the encouragement and support that was crucial to our family. We were so thankful to have a medical center with a world-class NICU in our hometown.

Thanks to UAMS, Harrison is now a happy, healthy three-year-old boy and we are forever grateful.
